Kathy Yeh
Yeh’s work is an analogy for the immaterial and unseen world of myths that link us to the environment. Donning mask and flippers, a world unfamiliar is revealed, propelling us into another reality, a place where human existence is tenuous and vulnerable. Concentrating on Sydney, Yeh’s installation work focuses on recent histories pertinent to the ongoing destruction of sites such as Botany Bay.
